Job Title: Floor Layer (Vinyl Specialist) Location: Skegness, Lincolnshire Pay Rate: £160 – £220 per day (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Floor Layer with specialist skills in vinyl flooring installation to join our team in Skegness. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience fitting vinyl sheets, tiles, and planks, ensuring precise, high-quality finishes in residential and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare subfloors for vinyl installation (cleaning, leveling, etc.) * Accurately measure, cut, and fit vinyl flooring materials * Install vinyl flooring using industry best practices to ensure durability and aesthetics * Work efficiently to complete jobs on schedule while maintaining high standards * Collaborate with other trades and site managers as needed * Maintain tools and follow health and safety guidelines Requirements: * Proven experience as a floor layer with strong vinyl flooring skills * Ability to handle different vinyl types (sheet, tile, plank) * Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently * Own tools and transport preferred * Full UK driving license desirable Benefits: * Competitive day rate between £160 – £220 based on experience * Regular, ongoing work in the local Skegness area * Friendly and supportive working environment * Opportunities for career growth and skill development If you’re a skilled floor layer who excels in vinyl installation and want to work in Skegness, please send your CV and contact details to apply
