Shift Engineer (Days & Nights) Central London £55,000 per annum 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights (12-hour shifts) Prestigious Commercial Office Site We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Shift Engineer to join the engineering team on a high-profile commercial office building in London. What's in it for you? * Competitive salary of £55,000 per year * 4 on 4 off shift pattern – days and nights * Stable role on a landmark commercial site with long-term contract security * Training & development opportunities * Supportive engineering team and professional working environment Key Responsibilities: * Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance across building services systems * Respond to faults efficiently and professionally, minimising downtime * Maintain and monitor HVAC, lighting, fire alarm, BMS, and other critical systems * Liaise with tenants, contractors, and site management to ensure high service standards * Keep accurate records via CAFM system and ensure compliance with H&S procedures * Assist in small works and project support when required Requirements: * City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering * Experience working in a commercial building or office environment (essential) * 18th Edition (for electrical candidates) highly desirable * Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive attitude * Able to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights * Good communication and customer service skills Ready to step into a prime role in a world-class commercial environment?
