Heavy Lifting Warehouse Operative (at height)

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves carrying out warehouse duties at height using a scissor lift, ensuring stock is safely handled, stored, and retrieved in line with company and health & safety procedures. SCISSOR LIFT TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE FIRST DAY. Key Responsibilities * Operate a scissor lift to access, move, and store goods at height. * Pick, pack, and move stock in accordance with warehouse processes. * Ensure goods are handled safely, minimising risk of damage or loss. * Follow health & safety guidelines, particularly with working at height regulations. * Load and unload deliveries, maintaining accurate records. * Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant with company standards. * Work effectively with the warehouse team to meet deadlines and targets. Requirements * Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential). * Valid scissor lift / MEWP licence (IPAF qualification desirable/NOT ESSENTIAL). * Physically fit and able to work at height. * Strong awareness of health & safety practices. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. * Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and overtime when required. Additional Information * All necessary PPE will be provided. * Full training on company systems and processes will be given. * Opportunities for progression within the warehouse team
