Job Title: Ganger – Groundworks Location: Ross-on-Wye Contract Type: Ongoing Contract / Long-Term Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Sector: Construction / Groundworks / Residential Job Description We are currently looking for an experienced Ganger to join a well-established groundworks team on a residential housing development in Ross-on-Wye. This is a long-term position with a reputable civil engineering contractor, offering consistent work and the opportunity to lead a small, skilled gang on a busy site. Key Responsibilities * Supervising a team of groundworkers on-site * Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to spec * Reading and working from drawings and setting out where required * Organising materials, plant, and labour * Liaising with the site manager and subcontractors * Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment Requirements * Proven experience as a ganger on groundworks or residential housing projects * Strong knowledge of all aspects of groundworks, including drainage, foundations, and externals * SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred) * CSCS Card (Essential) * Good communication and leadership skills * Ability to work from drawings and manage site logistics What’s on Offer * Competitive hourly rate * Long-term work with a respected contractor * Opportunity to progress within a growing team * Supportive site management and safe working conditions To apply, please submit your CV or call us directly for more information.
