Painter - Temporary Contract (Key Worker Accommodation) Locations: Romford & Chelmsford Contract Type: Temporary Rate: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour (Umbrella) Hours: Full-time About the Role: We are currently seeking two experienced painters to carry out internal decorating works within key worker living accommodation. One operative will be based in Romford, and the other in Chelmsford. This is a temporary opportunity ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality finishes in residential settings. Key Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding, filling, and priming Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, and woodwork Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to residents Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines Communicate professionally with site supervisors and residents when required Requirements: Proven experience in residential or commercial painting Good knowledge of painting techniques and materials Ability to work neatly and efficiently Own tools and PPE preferred Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Basic DBS check is required Must be able to travel to either Romford or Chelmsford site Additional Info: Immediate start available Temporary contract with potential for ongoing work
