Deputy Nursery Manager

Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 (DOE) Contract: Full- Time, Permanent Location: Richmond upon Thames Start Date: ASAP We're on the search for a motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join a thriving nursery near Richmond upon Thames . About the Role: As a deputy Manager, you'll be expected to: -Support the Nursery Manager in the running of the regular day to day -Step in as acting manager when needed -Lead and mentor room leaders and practitioners to maintain high-quality childcare -Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted standards -Develop strong connections with parents, carers and outside agencies -Assist In staff recruiting, training and performance management -Work excellently within the EYFS curriculum Benefits: -Competitive pay rates -Work-life balance/ Flexible working. -Paid birthday leave -Supportive senior leadership team What are we looking for? - Level 3 or above in childcare/Early Years - At last 2-3 years leadership experience in a nursery or childcare setting - Knowledge of the EYFS framework - Knowledge of safeguarding and early years legislation. - Strong organisation and management skills - Confident approach
