Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Assistant Quantity Surveyor Our client, a well-established main contractor, is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial sector projects, with genuine scope for career progression within a supportive and ambitious business. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the delivery of commercial functions across multiple projects Support the preparation and analysis of costings, budgets, and tenders Monitor project progress and manage contract variations Work closely with site teams, clients, and senior QS’s to ensure commercial success Maintain accurate records and support with monthly valuations and final accountsWhat They’re Looking For: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS Strong commercial knowledge and background in the commercial sector A full UK driving licence Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment Experience in decarbonisation projects and social housing is highly desirableWhat They Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Company Vehicle Ongoing training and career development opportunities A collaborative, team-driven working culture The chance to contribute to impactful projects across the UK
