Cable Jointer Supervisor – EV & Energy Projects Location: Midlands, East & Southeast UK (Nationwide Travel as Required) Industry: Energy, Utilities, EV Infrastructure, Power Distribution Job Type: Rolling contract 6- 12 Months Salary: £280 a day Company Vehicle Role Overview An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cable Jointer Supervisor to join a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of the EV & Energy sector. You will play a key role in overseeing and auditing both Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) jointing activities , ensuring works meet IDNO/DNO standards while supervising contractors and supporting the delivery of high-quality client projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a field-based environment, enjoys problem-solving on-site, and wants to contribute to the UK’s clean energy and EV transition. Key Responsibilities Supervise LV and HV jointing works across multiple projects. Conduct jointing audits to ensure compliance with DNO/IDNO specifications. Plan and oversee new supply connections and alterations to existing networks. Manage civils teams to ensure safe cable identification processes. Provide updates on design changes and maintain accurate project records. Carry out inspection, testing, and maintenance activities as required. Ensure full compliance with health & safety and industry regulations. What You’ll Bring City & Guilds 2304 qualification (or equivalent experience). Previous experience working with a DNO/IDNO environment desirable. Experience with underground and overhead jointing , plus test & switch. NRSWA Supervisor certification. Strong mechanical and electrical skills with proven problem-solving ability. Excellent communication, leadership, and team-player mindset. Valid UK Driving Licence (essential).
