Role: Electrical Project Manager Location: Bristol, UK Job Type: Full-time Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 A leading M&E contractor with over 45 years of experience delivering major building services projects is looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Bristol. This role focuses on the delivery of a high-value MEP design and build defence project, requiring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and coordination. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a nationally important development while managing a complex, multi-million-pound electrical package on a secure and prestigious project. What you’ll be doing Lead the electrical scope of a large-scale MEP design and build project. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Review specifications, manage technical submittals, RFIs, and design queries. Oversee procurement, delivery, and installation of plant and electrical systems. Monitor labour, resources, and progress against programme and budget. Manage subcontractors, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery. Drive commissioning, snagging, and close-out activities. Ensure compliance with document control and project standards. What we’re looking for Proven experience delivering large electrical packages on MEP projects (defence, government, mission-critical, or data centres preferred). Track record of managing multi-million-pound projects from design through handover. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management. Leadership ability with a focus on driving safe, compliant, and efficient project outcomes.
