Mobile Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Commercial Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Temp to Perm) Location: Enfield and surrounding areas Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Pay: £25 per hour (Umbrella) – £45,000 per annum once permanent We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber / Mechanical Engineer for an immediate start on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a mobile role covering Enfield and the surrounding areas, working across commercial sites. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and plumbing experience, with the ability to work independently on a variety of systems and plant equipment. Key Responsibilities: Fan coil servicing – checking filters, cleaning coils, recording hot/cold on/off temperatures, and checking divertor valve operation Heating pump replacements and general plumbing tasks, including leak repairs Servicing and maintenance of unvented cylinders (Unvented Hot Water Certificate required) Boiler room work – including strainer cleaning, valve maintenance, and 3-way valve replacements Air Handling Unit (AHU) maintenance – filter changes and belt replacements Radiator valve repairs and occasional radiator replacements Servicing and replacement of hot/cold mixing valves Understanding of closed, open, and LTHW systems Desirable: L8 Legionella Awareness or Certification (advantageous) DBS clearance Clean driving licence (preferred) Requirements: Proven experience as a Commercial Plumber or Mechanical Engineer Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services systems Valid Unvented Hot Water Certificate (essential) Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Details: Location: Mobile – Enfield and surrounding areas Start: ASAP Pay: £25 per hour (Umbrella) Salary: £45,000 per annum upon permanent transfer Contract: Temp to Perm If you are a skilled and reliable Commercial Plumber / Mechanical Engineer looking for your next opportunity, please apply today for an immediate start
