SEND Teaching Assistant Position: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Doncaster Contract: Full time (temporary) Pay: £85 - £100 per day Are you a committed and caring teaching assistant with experience supporting children with SEND needs and ready to make a difference? Provide Education are working with nurturing and inclusive secondary schools in Doncaster to find a teaching assistant with SEND experience. Working on a full-time basis to support pupils both academically and socially, this role provides an opportunity to develop your career and enhance pupils learning. Key Responsibilities: * Providing 1:1 and small group support to promote pupil progress. * Supporting the class teacher with lesson planning and delivery. * Collaborating with the class teacher, other teaching assistants and SENCO to implement learning and behaviour strategies. * Promoting a positive and nurturing classroom environment. What we’re looking for; * Experience of working with SEND children. * Someone who is flexible, adaptable and consistent. * Strongly skilled in behaviour management and supporting children with complex learning needs. * An enhanced DBS on the update service, if you do not currently have a valid DBS we can help you apply for one! * Good understanding of safeguarding children, with a minimum of Level 1 Safeguarding.
