Job Opportunity: Document Controller – HS2 Project Location: Warwichshire Contract Type: Permanent / Fixed-term / Contract Industry: Civil Engineering / Rail Infrastructure Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team on a high-profile HS2 (High Speed 2) project. This is a key role supporting the delivery of one of the largest and most ambitious infrastructure projects in the UK. The ideal candidate will have previous HS2 project experience and a strong understanding of document control systems and quality standards within large-scale infrastructure or rail environments. Key Responsibilities * Manage, control, and archive project documentation in accordance with HS2 and company standards. * Maintain accurate records of all project documentation, ensuring version control and traceability. * Support project teams in the use of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as ProjectWise, Asite, or similar. * Coordinate document workflows, ensuring timely review, approval, and distribution. * Liaise with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure document compliance. * Conduct regular audits to ensure document control procedures are being adhered to. * Assist in onboarding and training team members in document control procedures and systems. Requirements * Proven experience as a Document Controller on HS2 or other major infrastructure projects. * Strong working knowledge of EDMS platforms (ProjectWise, Asite, etc.). * Familiarity with BS EN ISO 9001 and document management best practices. * Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage large volumes of documentation. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project environment. Desirable * Previous experience with Tier 1 contractors or joint ventures delivering HS2 packages. * Understanding of BIM processes and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
