Setting Out Engineer

We are currently recruiting experienced Setting Out Engineer for long-term civil engineering project in Birmingham This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent work on a variety of infrastructure and groundwork schemes. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for civils and groundworks packages * Working from drawings and site plans * Carrying out site surveys and recording as-built data * Ensuring works are completed accurately and to specification * Liaising with site managers, subcontractors, and engineers Requirements: * Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Setting Out Engineer in civil engineering * Proficient with setting out equipment (e.g., Leica/Trimble) * Valid CSCS card * Right to work in the UK * Full UK driving licence and own transport (preferred) What’s on Offer: * Competitive day rates from £250 to £300, depending on experience * Work outside IR35 * Immediate starts available * Long-term pipeline of work across multiple sites
