Senior Design Manager

Senior Design Manager, North East London An established Contractor is looking for a Senior Design Manager to join their team in North East London. Renowned for delivering sustainable, collaborative home building, they focus on high quality designs across new build, refurbishment and social housing projects throughout London. As Senior Design Manager, you will oversee the full design process in design & build contracts. Key responsibilities include organising and chairing design meetings, ensuring design deliverables are procured on schedule, providing technical guidance, and interpreting client requirements. You will manage junior staff and work closely with all key stakeholders; you'll need excellent prioritisation, exceptional organisation, and confidence in leadership. Applicants should be existing Design or Technical Managers or Senior / Project Architects looking to move into design management, especially with experience in residential projects. A qualification such as HNC/HND (or equivalent) in design or a technical field is required. Strong experience across RIBA stages 4-6 will be a big advantage. Remuneration: £80,000-£95,000 plus package, dependent on experience
