️ Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Main Contractor | Central London Location: Central London Day Rate: £350 – £400 per day Contract: 6–12 months Company Overview: Our client is a leading Tier 1 main contractor delivering high-profile schemes across London and the South East. With a strong track record in commercial offices, mixed-use, and high-end residential developments, they continue to secure prestigious new projects. Due to growth, they are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a landmark scheme in Central London. Key Responsibilities: * Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and variations * Prepare cost forecasts, valuations, and financial reports * Support the commercial lead with project cost management and reporting * Liaise with project delivery and design teams to maintain financial control * Assist with final accounts and close-out documentation Requirements: * Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor * Strong understanding of JCT contracts * Previous experience on Central London projects preferred * Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills * Able to work autonomously and deliver accurate reporting What’s on Offer: * Long-term contract on a flagship London development * Stable contractor with an established project pipeline * Competitive day rate and supportive team environment
