️ Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Main Contractor | Central London Location: Central London Day Rate: £425 – £500 per day Contract: 12 months Overview: A Tier 1 main contractor renowned for delivering major London developments is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial function on a large-scale commercial office and mixed-use scheme in Central London. Role Responsibilities: * Lead cost management across key project packages * Manage procurement, subcontract accounts, and variations * Produce CVRs, monthly reports, and financial forecasts * Provide strategic commercial input to the project director and client teams * Mentor and support junior QS staff Candidate Profile: * Minimum 7 years’ experience with a main contractor (Tier 1 or Tier 2) * Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts * Proven track record delivering projects in London * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Proactive, organised, and commercially driven Why Apply: * Major London landmark project with a Tier 1 contractor * Long-term contract opportunity * Excellent project team and structured commercial environment
