Due to an increase in workload our client is looking to expand the team with a Yard Person on a busy utility term contract. Salary to £38k | Company Vehicle | Stakeholder Pension | Life Assurance | 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Yard Person Key Essentials: * As a Yard Person, your role will involve overseeing the yard / stores on a busy utility contract * Checking all deliveries on arrival; ensuring correct quantities and material type / goods before being signed for * Ordering stores before minimum levels are reached * Responsible for the supervision of all goods in / out to site staff * Oversee stock / stock control; ensuring that required items are ordered and replenished accordingly * Ensure that the yard is kept clean and tidy * Regularly loading goods on to vans / HGV’s using a telehandler * Delivering / collecting supplies and/or materials from site when required Yard Person Requirements: * As a Yard Person, you should be a confident person with previous experience working in a similar role on a utility contract * It is essential that you have a full UK driving and telehandler licence * Good I.T skills with Outlook / Excel and be numerate Due to the nature of this position, it will require an early morning start (7.00am) this will be based on a 9-hour day (45-hour week). yard yardperson yardman yardwoman stores storeperson storeman storewoman materials plant transport workshop fleet construction utilities reinstatement civilengineering By applying for this position, you are agreeing for CVL:LDN to hold and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
