Architectural Technician – Dundee Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (DOE) Sector: Commercial & Residential Projects About the Role: An established architectural practice in Dundee is seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join their team, supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential developments. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality technical drawings, coordinating with design and construction teams, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documentation using CAD software. * Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent and technical accuracy. * Contribute to the design development and technical delivery of projects across various RIBA stages. * Undertake building regulation submissions, planning applications, and specifications. * Coordinate with suppliers and consultants to resolve technical issues. * Conduct site visits and inspections to support project delivery. About You: * Qualified Architectural Technician or Technologist with relevant experience. * Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience advantageous). * Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing. * Experience across both commercial and residential sectors preferred. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
