Real Estate Private Equity Lawyer

A top-tier City real estate practice is looking to appoint a senior Associate to its award-winning team. Consistently top-ranked in both Chambers and Legal 500, the group is widely recognised for advising on some of the most sophisticated and high-value real estate private equity transactions in the market. The team acts for leading global private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds, and institutional investors on complex, multi-jurisdictional deals. Matters typically include cross-border acquisitions and disposals, portfolio transactions, joint ventures, and corporate real estate M&A, frequently with intricate structuring and financing elements. Alongside these, you'll also have exposure to significant development and investment projects, often requiring close coordination with corporate, finance and tax colleagues. This role is targeted at a senior Lawyer who can step straight into a front-line role with clients. You'll be expected to lead on transactions, manage junior team members, and drive matters forward with confidence and commercial acumen. The successful candidate will bring at least five years' high-quality real estate experience, with a clear track record of working on private equity-led or corporate-driven real estate transactions. Strong London market experience and qualification in England & Wales are essential.
