Handyman – Long-Term Government Project – Aldermaston * Location: Aldermaston * Start Date: ASAP (Subject to BPSS/DBS clearance) * Duration: Minimum 2 years * Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour (CIS) * Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:30 (9.5 hours paid daily) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and professional Handyman for a long-term position on a government-sensitive construction project in Aldermaston. This is a fantastic opportunity offering 2 years minimum work on a secure, high-profile site with excellent working conditions and competitive pay. Key Responsibilities: * Carrying out a wide range of handyman duties including: * Minor carpentry, basic painting, patch plastering, and general snagging * Performing small-scale repairs and adjustments as needed * Maintaining site tidiness and safety standards * Supporting site management and trades teams with ad hoc maintenance tasks * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner Requirements: * Valid CSCS Card * Proven experience as a handyman/multi-trader on construction or maintenance sites * Own tools required to carry out the job efficiently * Must have Right to Work in the UK * 3 years of continuous UK work history with no gaps exceeding 28 days * Able to pass BPSS clearance, including a DBS check (funded by us) * Excellent communication, reliability, and attention to detail What’s on Offer? * Long-term secure project (minimum 2 years) * Excellent hourly rate – £20/hr * 47.5 paid hours per week * Opportunity to work on a government-sensitive site * Full support through BPSS/DBS process (we cover the cost)
