Estimated Weekly Salary Weekly Salary Range: $2,310 - $2,470 per week (estimated) Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Des Moines, IA 50309 (Iowa healthcare jobs) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026) Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 10-hour days Hours per Week: 40 Setting: Operating Room, Level 1 Trauma Center On-Call: Possible, as needed (weekend call from Friday end of shift to Monday 6:30 AM) Scrubs: Provided EMR: EPIC Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa (Iowa RN jobs) BLS certification (AHA) Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience Circulating experience required; scrubbing experience strongly preferred Proficiency in General, Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma surgical cases Experience with Level I trauma preferred EPIC EMR experience within the last 3 years Ability to float across multiple hospital campuses as needed OR RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room Circulate and, ideally, scrub for a wide variety of surgical procedures including cardiac, neuro, orthopedic trauma, robotics, gynecology, urology, general, pediatrics, and transplants Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR Participate in quick turnovers (less than 20 minutes expected) Respond to on-call needs and float to other hospital campuses as required Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including holiday and weekend coverage Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team as a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse in Des Moines, Iowa.
