Responsibilities Work in a hospital operating room setting with 41 ORs at a Level 1 Trauma Center Day shift (3x12 hours), 6:45 to 19:15, with varied start times including 0845 and 1045 Weekend shifts scheduled per unit needs On-call required, approximately 6 shifts per 8-week schedule Float to other operating rooms within the same facility as needed Patient ratio is 1:1 Handles cases including General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgeries Epic EMR is used and experience is required Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing in a variety of surgical cases in a high-acuity trauma setting Required to complete online modules as part of orientation, typically during the first day Maximum of 10 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed per 13-week contract, with blackout dates for RTO at certain times No blocked scheduling requests will be accepted Local candidates considered if living less than 75 miles from facility Requirements Active Colorado or compact state RN license Current AHA BLS certification Minimum 3 years of operating room RN experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma centers Epic electronic medical record experience required No first-time travelers will be considered Applicants must not have worked for the specified health system or its affiliates within the last two years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629996.
