ER RN Job Details – Puyallup, WA Location: Puyallup, WA 98372 (Washington healthcare jobs) Facility: Level III Trauma Center, 375 licensed beds, 46 Emergency Department beds Assignment Length: 15 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/14/2026) Shift: 12-hour Days/Mids (0700, 1100, 1500, 1900 start times) Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Benefits: Free parking in designated areas Emergency Room Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Washington RN license preferred for local candidates) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI/MOAB Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and emergency medication administration Traveler Telemetry Competency (must be completed and passed prior to start) First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply! ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, sepsis, mental health, and geriatric conditions Perform procedural sedation, blood administration, and cardiac medication management Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including ER techs, charge nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers, pharmacy, and security Utilize Epic for electronic charting and Alaris/Pyxis for medication management Participate in orientation and ongoing education with support from the ED educator Maintain professional appearance (any scrub color allowed, modest piercings, non-offensive tattoos) Meet holiday coverage requirements (2 of 5 major holidays) Experience the fast-paced and supportive environment of a leading emergency department in Washington state.
