Estimated Weekly Salary Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,350 - $2,520 per week Registered Nurse Job Details Location: Auburn, WA (98001) – Washington healthcare jobs Facility: Birth Center (20 beds: 12 Labor & Delivery, 8 postpartum/antepartum, 3 OB/ED rooms, 2 ORs, 6-bed Level II NICU) Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025, End: 2/28/2026) Shift: 12-hour night shifts Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Scrubs: Teal scrubs provided EMR System: EPIC Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license (Washington RN license preferred for local candidates) Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including at least 1 year in LDRP Current BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications Proficient in cervical exams, antepartum and labor management, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin administration Postpartum care experience: transition to discharge for mothers and newborns Ability to circulate C-sections (required); scrub experience preferred Experience in baby catching/receiving, APGAR scoring, breastfeeding support Multilingual skills (Russian, Spanish) preferred First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a busy Birth Center Perform cervical exams, manage antepartum and labor patients, assist with amnio infusions and epidurals Monitor fetal well-being and administer medications Provide exceptional postpartum care from transition to discharge Circulate and assist in C-section procedures; scrub experience a plus Receive newborns, conduct APGAR assessments, and offer breastfeeding education Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes Participate in every other weekend rotation; no on-call required Apply now to join our healthcare team in Auburn, WA and take the next step in your Labor & Delivery nursing career!
