Guidewire Integration Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Guidewire Integration Developer for a contract position with a client located in Regina, SK . We seek a Certified Guidewire Integration professional with over 9 years of proven experience in developing and maintaining integrations in InsuranceSuite applications, handling defect fixes, and business-prioritized enhancements within a large environment. Guidewire Integration Developer Location: Services would be carried out as a combination of on-site/remote/hybrid. Candidate can be in any of the provinces where client office operates(within Canada) and should be available 8 AM to 5 PM SK time Duration: 1 year with possible extension Job Description: Requirements: The Guidewire Integration Developer develops and maintains integrations in InsuranceSuite applications, handling defect fixes and business-prioritized enhancements. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Build and maintain integrations using Guidewire APIs, Gosu, Java, SOAP/REST web services, IG and messaging frameworks. Implement batch processes, event messaging, and plugin-based integrations with third-party systems. Configure and extend the Guidewire data model, including PCFs, product models, and underwriting rules. Solid hands-on experience in Guidewire Integrations and architecture. Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues. Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Programming: Gosu, Java, XML, JSON, SQL Integration: Guidewire APIs, SOAP/REST, Messaging, Plugins Platforms: Guidewire Cloud, AWS (preferred), IntelliJ Tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Confluence Testing: Unit Testing, API Test Frameworks Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, SurePath, CI/CD
