Directional Driller

We are seeking an experienced Directional Driller with previous expertise in SAGD operations in Canada. This role is based in Calgary, AB, on a 21/7 rotation, supporting one of our key clients, a leading oil and gas company, on a one-year contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable drilling services, ensuring high-quality execution and compliance with both company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Execute directional drilling services with a focus on SAGD operations. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of job deliverables. Lead service delivery execution and manage operational risks. Conduct job risk analysis and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote services and solutions. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards through CAT implementation, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections. Participate in Service Quality Meetings with clients and drive performance improvements via action plans. Actively engage in HSE and Quality programs. Adhere to all PPE requirements and HSE policies. Maintain up-to-date safety training and certifications. Qualifications: Minimun of 5 years of experience in SAGD operations within Canada. Strong background in directional drilling and wellsite execution. Familiarity with Canadian oilfield regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
