Civil/Structural Drafter

Structural Designer/Drafter – Vancouver, BC HAYS Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading engineering consultancy to recruit a Structural Drafter for their Vancouver office. This is a key technical role for a detail-oriented professional ready to contribute to high-profile structural projects and support a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed structural drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop accurate and timely design documentation. Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to produce construction-ready drawings. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure design integration and consistency. Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with company and industry guidelines. Assist in the preparation of drawing packages for permit and construction. Support revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in internal reviews and contribute to quality assurance processes. Qualifications: Diploma or certificate in Structural/Civil Drafting or related field. 3 years of experience in structural drafting, preferably in a consulting environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential. Strong understanding of structural systems and construction methods. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Work Mode & Location: Hybrid Schedule : Onsite Tuesday–Thursday. Location : Vancouver office. Travel : Not required.
