As an Assembler Weekend Shift at ASML in Veldhoven, you’ll help build the machines that make microchips possible. These systems are used by leading tech companies around the world. In this role, you’ll contribute directly to ASML’s mission to push the boundaries of technology. You’ll work in our cleanrooms, assembling and testing parts of our advanced lithography systems. Your work will help ensure that our machines meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Role and Responsibilities As an Assembler Weekend Shift, you’ll be part of a team that builds and qualifies complex modules and systems. You’ll work in a structured, clean, and safe environment where precision and teamwork are key. Your responsibilities include: Assemble high-quality components and systems according to defined procedures. Adjust and align parts to meet technical specifications. Perform tests such as leak testing, high-voltage testing, and qualification checks. Identify and resolve technical issues during assembly and testing. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Suggest improvements to reduce cycle time and enhance quality. Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. Education and experience To succeed in this role, you’ll need: A secondary vocational Education (MBO level 4) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, applied physics, electronics, aerospace, or automotive engineering. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree (HBO) in one of the above fields with hands-on experience. Experience in technical assembly or troubleshooting, such as working as a car mechanic, technician, or service engineer. Affinity with high-tech systems and precision work. Other information This Assembler Weekend Shift role is based in Veldhoven and follows a weekend shift schedule: Friday: Office hours Saturday and Sunday: Alternating shifts Early shift: 06:00–14:30 Late shift: 13:30–22:00 You’ll start with a one-year contract, during which you’ll receive training to reach the required competence level.
