Job Description

Our Client is an office supplies company. They have an opportunity for a Sales & Service Department Manager to oversee their workshop of 3 Technicians. Job Purpose: The Manager will oversee all aspects of office supplies operations, including sales, servicing, maintenance, and client support. This role ensures the efficient management of office repair services and stock control while driving sales growth for office equipment and consumables. The manager also supports technicians and sales staff to maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Operations & Management Oversee day-to-day service operations, including installations, repairs, and maintenance schedules. Manage a team of 3 technicians and support staff to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and client interactions. Coordinate logistics for the delivery, collection, and setup of office equipment. Sales & Client Relations Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Promote and sell related office supplies to meet or exceed sales targets. Technical & Product Knowledge Stay updated with the latest IT technology, software, and consumables. Support troubleshooting and diagnostics for complex repair issues. Ensure technicians receive appropriate training and certifications as needed. Administration & Reporting Monitor inventory levels of parts, toners, and machines, coordinating with suppliers as needed. Prepare performance reports, service data, and sales forecasts for senior management. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations. Person Specification: Proven experience in photocopier or printer management, sales, or service operations. Strong technical understanding of photocopier hardware and software. Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. Valid drivers licence (preferred). Personal Attributes: Proactive and results-driven attitude. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Customer-focused with high attention to detail. Team-oriented, with the ability to lead and motivate others.
