Electrical Engineer

Location: Worcestershire Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary Working Hours: Monday Thursday: 08:00 17:00 Friday: 08:00 16:00 Weekend cover: 1 in every 3 weekends On-call rota included About the Role We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Engineer to join our clients team in Worcestershire. This is a temporary full-time position, supporting both planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring electrical systems remain safe and fully operational, responding quickly to breakdowns, and performing preventative maintenance in line with schedules. Please note: Security vetting will be required prior to starting this role. Key Responsibilities Carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance . Diagnose, repair, and test electrical faults and issues. Conduct routine inspections and compliance checks (e.g., statutory testing). Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems as required. Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and statutory regulations. Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover as required. Work one weekend in three to provide maintenance support. Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and compliance checks. Essential Skills & Experience NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation/Maintenance. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. Proven experience in installation, testing, and maintenance. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible approach to work, with willingness to participate in on-call and weekend cover. Good communication and organisational skills. Must successfully complete security vetting prior to employment. Full UK driving licence.
