Field Engineer

BESS Field Engineer – Battery Storage South UK | Field-Based | Utility-Scale Projects We’re working with a major player in the UK energy transition space, supporting the delivery of large scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the South of England. As the pipeline continues to grow, we’re looking for a Field Engineer to play a hands on role in supporting the construction and commissioning of utility scale battery storage sites. Key responsibilities: Support site construction, installation, and commissioning activities Coordinate daily works with contractors and EPC partners Ensure site works are delivered safely and in line with technical specifications Assist with QA/QC checks, testing, and documentation Work closely with the project and engineering teams to resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively Ideal background: Electrical, construction, or commissioning background (HV, solar, BESS, or similar) Site experience on infrastructure or renewable energy projects Strong understanding of health & safety on site (CSCS, SSSTS advantageous) Willingness to travel to multiple sites across the South This is a great opportunity to join the frontline of the UK’s energy transition , working on projects that directly support grid stability and the shift to a cleaner energy system.
