Your new role Site Manager required to lead groundworks operations on a project in Ipswich, but must be flexible to work across Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of groundworks packages, including foundations, drainage, earthworks, and external works. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification Manage subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery Monitor progress and produce regular site reports Ensure quality control and resolve any on-site issues promptly Lead site inductions and toolbox talks Maintain accurate site records and documentation What you'll need to succeed Proven experience managing groundworks packages on construction sites Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance Excellent leadership and communication skills SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications required What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
