Job Description
Role: ERP Transition Lead Location: Toronto, Montreal, or Ottawa (Remote) Work Schedule: 40 hours/week Work Mode: Primarily remote with occasional on-site presence (during SIT and UAT phases) Travel: Periodic travel between Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa Languages: French/English bilingualism required CONTEXT: We are seeking for one of our clients, an experienced Transition and Post-Deployment Support Lead to drive a major ERP transformation. The client is at the heart of a large-scale modernization, migrating from SAP to Oracle Fusion Cloud to revolutionize their sourcing, procurement, contracting, and supplier management processes. This strategic project will transform how this iconic institution manages its operations. You will lead the critical cutover and hypercare phases, ensuring a seamless transition to the new system. Your expertise will be crucial to the success of this transformation that will impact all client operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Transition Planning & Execution · Develop and drive transition strategy in alignment with project timelines · Coordinate functional and technical teams to sequence critical tasks · Prepare and maintain detailed runbook, orchestrate rehearsals (mock cutovers) · Manage transition command center during Go-Live for smooth execution · Collaborate with Infrastructure, Integration, and Data Migration teams Post-Deployment Management · Lead Go-Live command center operations from the project office · Develop and execute post-deployment governance framework (Hypercare) and support plan · Establish governance cadence (daily standups, dashboards, SLAs) · Ensure transition to steady-state support teams · Capture lessons learned and stabilization reports Stakeholder and Communication Management · Serve as single point of contact for transition and post-deployment activities · Collaborate with OCM team to socialize support plan · Provide clear reports and updates to project office and business partners · Ensure alignment with external system partners (Salesforce, Workday) · Manage communication to end users regarding system availability Governance and Quality · Lead readiness checkpoints and go/no-go reviews · Identify, monitor, and mitigate transition and post-go-live risks · Define and monitor success metrics · Maintain compliance with audit, IT security, and data governance standards REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Essential · 10 years of ERP program experience including 3-5 years on complete cutover modules (Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, or equivalent systems) · Demonstrated success leading transition and post-deployment support phases in multi-stream, multi-integration ERP programs · Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP modules (SCM, ERP finance/project management/assets, EPM) · Experience with complex integrations (Salesforce, Workday, custom applications) · Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills (technical and business domains) · Proficiency in project planning tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent) · French/English bilingualism Preferred Familiarity with data migration and change management frameworks
