Housing Officer Assistant

Assistant Housing Officer Location: Lancaster Circus, Birmingham Pay: £12.60 per hour Contract: 3 months We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Housing Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage their workload effectively. Key Responsibilities Support the housing team in overseeing 5-10 housing schemes per week. Carry out routine checks, visits, and record-keeping as required. Respond promptly to tenant queries and escalate issues where necessary. Ensure properties are maintained to a high standard and report any concerns. Work independently, managing time effectively to meet deadlines. About You Able to use your own initiative and work with minimal supervision. Strong time management and organisational skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Previous experience in housing, property management, or a similar role is desirable but not essential. What We Offer £12.60 per hour (paid weekly). 3-month contract with potential for extension. Based in Birmingham.
