Teaching Assistant - Year 3 Location: Nuneaton, Coventry, CV10 Weekly Rate: £460 - £500 per week Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full Time - 8:30am to 3:30pm (Term Time Only) Contract: Long Term with potential for Permanent Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Nuneaton who are looking for a caring and enthusiastic General Class Teaching Assistant to join their Year 3 classroom. This is a long-term role with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. You'll work closely with the class teacher to help deliver engaging lessons, support small groups and individual learners, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. While the role is primarily focused on general classroom support, you'll also assist children with mild additional needs to ensure they can access learning and feel supported throughout the school day. The Role: Support the Year 3 class teacher in delivering exciting and accessible learning activities Provide small group and 1:1 support where needed, including for pupils with mild SEN Help manage classroom routines, prepare resources and maintain a positive learning atmosphere Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation among pupils Collaborate with teaching staff and the SENCo to support individual learning goals Promote a caring, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environmentThe Ideal Candidate: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred Previous experience working in a primary classroom setting Understanding or awareness of SEN support strategies is beneficial Positive, patient, and flexible approach with good teamwork skills Passionate about helping all children reach their potential Must hold a valid DBS and provide two satisfactory referencesAbout the School: Two-form entry primary school rated 'Good' by Ofsted Supportive leadership team with a strong focus on staff well-being Inclusive ethos and commitment to every child's progress Excellent classroom facilities and access to Forest School sessions On-site parking and good transport linksIf you're passionate about supporting children's learning in a nurturing school environment, we'd love to hear from you.
