Estimator

We’re representing a well-established Essex-based main contractor delivering a broad range of new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects across the commercial, residential, and education sectors. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to join their pre-construction team. The Role * Manage tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission * Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation * Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations * Support bid strategy discussions and provide accurate commercial input About You * 4–5 years’ experience in estimating within a main contractor * Looking to step up from Assistant Estimator to a standalone Estimator position * Strong attention to detail with sound commercial awareness * Proficient in Bluebeam or similar take-off / estimating software * Confident communicator with a proactive, team-first mindset What’s on Offer * Salary up to £65,000 (inclusive package) * Opportunity to work on a variety of high-quality projects * Collaborative, supportive company culture If you’re ready to take the next step in your estimating career, apply today or contact us in confidence for more details
