Industrial Electrician (LV) – Quarry Sector Location: UK-wide (Head Office in Coventry) Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience Type: Permanent | Full-time Department: Electrical Construction About the company: A leading electrical and mechanical integration specialist delivering turnkey automation and processing systems across the quarrying and heavy industrial sectors. The role: This position is suited to an experienced LV Industrial Electrician looking to work within the quarrying and heavy engineering environment. You’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality electrical installations at manufacturing and quarry sites nationwide, ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards. Key responsibilities: * Travel to customer sites across the UK to complete planned electrical installation works. * Follow all safety procedures, RAMS, toolbox talks, and permit-to-work systems as directed by site supervision. * Install cable containment systems, cable routes, MCC/process control panels, and distribution systems to a high standard. * Complete final fix work including cable glanding, dressing, terminating, and labelling to design and industry specifications. * Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and complete daily progress updates. * Work collaboratively with project teams to support efficient site delivery and maintain strong working relationships. About you: * Minimum 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in heavy industrial electrical installation (experience in the quarry sector advantageous). * Strong understanding of containment and cable installation methods. * Ability to read and work from electrical schematics, GA drawings, and termination lists. * Capable of testing and inspecting installed electrical circuits and producing relevant certification. * Confident working independently and taking initiative when faced with challenges. * Team player with excellent communication skills and a strong safety-first mindset. * Flexibility to work away from home when required. * Full UK driving licence essential.
