️ EPLAN Design Engineer – Automation & Robotics (Contract) Location: Essex (Hybrid – 1-2 days on-site) Contract: 6-Month Rolling Outside IR35 Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We’re working with a leading automation and robotics company who are seeking a skilled EPLAN Design Engineer to join their growing project team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical design solutions for advanced automation systems across multiple sectors. This is an urgent requirement for someone who can hit the ground running and bring deep EPLAN expertise to an innovative and fast-moving environment. Responsibilities: * Design and develop electrical schematics using EPLAN P8 * Produce detailed electrical documentation, including panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials * Work closely with mechanical, software, and project engineers to ensure seamless system integration * Support commissioning and troubleshooting activities as required * Maintain design standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Requirements: ✅ Proven experience as an EPLAN Electrical Design Engineer (minimum 3 years) ✅ Strong background in automation / robotics / machinery / manufacturing ✅ Proficiency in EPLAN P8, including macros and template management ✅ Understanding of control panel design, PLC wiring, and safety circuits ✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills What’s on Offer: * Competitive daily rate (Outside IR35) * 6-month rolling contract with long-term potential * Hybrid working (mix of remote and on-site in Essex) * Opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation technologies Interested?
