Learning Support Assistant - Trafford - Immediate Start Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time, long-term Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a committed and nurturing Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Trafford, starting immediately. The Role: Supporting children with additional needs, both inside and outside the classroom. Adapting learning materials and providing targeted interventions. Encouraging student engagement and promoting independence. Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals. Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to individual education plans (IEPs). Ideal Candidate: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, LSA, or in a similar child-support role. Understanding of SEN, including strategies for supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, and other learning needs. Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with excellent communication skills. A team player with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for education. A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one via Tradewind Recruitment.
