Job Opportunity: Part-Time Sales Administrator (Fixed-Term) Location: Upton upon Severn Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed-Term – high potential to become permanent after 6 months Hours: 25 per week | Flexible shifts: 10:00am–3:00pm or 9:30am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday Hourly Rate: £12.60 (first 3 months), rising to £13.60 thereafter We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join our friendly team in the scenic town of Upton upon Severn. Role Overview To provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth order processing, excellent customer service, and efficient coordination between production, logistics, and clients. The role requires sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism due to the nature of the industry. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for sales inquiries via phone and email Manage sales orders and maintain CRM systems Handle invoicing, filing, and purchase orders Provide administrative support to the sales team Keep records and databases organised and up to date Monitor order progress and liaise with production to ensure timely delivery Provide product information, pricing, and availability updates with empathy and professionalism Liaise with transport providers to schedule deliveries Track shipments and resolve delivery issues promptly Daily use of Sage 50 What We’re Looking For Experience in administration or sales support (preferred) Strong attention to detail and reliability Warm communicator with a professional and friendly manner Familiar with Microsoft Office and CRM software Sage 50 and Excel Must live within a 30-minute drive of Upton upon Severn Own transport is essential due to the rural locationWhat We Offer Flexible daytime working hours Supportive, welcoming team environment Competitive hourly rate with increase after 3 months Office located in a charming riverside town Free parking on site Group activities
