Job Description

Key Account Manager (Automotive/Commercial Vehicles & Logistics) Location: Isando, Johannesburg Key Responsibilities Strategic Customer Engagement Identify and maintain relationships with national fleet clients (100 vehicles). Lead high-level negotiations and long-term supply agreements. Ensure seamless coordination of sales, aftersales, and lifecycle support. Account Development & Growth Build and implement growth plans for national accounts focused on retention and value-added services. Drive incremental national fleet sales. Develop tailored Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and lifecycle proposals. Dealer & Network Collaboration Work with independent dealers and regional managers to align Key Account activities. Support dealers in retaining invoicing, margin, and operational delivery. Customer Segmentation & Governance Maintain the fleet segmentation model and oversee allocation of Key Account targets. Reporting & Performance Management Monitor and report sales performance, pipeline, and competitor activity. Conduct monthly reviews with dealers and regional managers. Required Qualifications & Experience Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business , or related field. Minimum 57 years of B2B sales or Key Account Management experience in commercial vehicles, logistics, or similar industry . Proven ability to engage C-suite clients and close complex deals . Strong knowledge of dealer-based networks and South African commercial vehicle market . Code 8 drivers licence . Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills .
