SAP Services & Support Manager (Leadership Role) Location: Canada (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior Management - Operations About the Role We’re seeking an accomplished SAP Services & Support Manager to lead the strategic direction, delivery, and optimization of SAP solutions across enterprise operations. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee the SAP ecosystem’s full lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to sustainment and innovation—ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial performance. What You’ll Be Doing Leadership Provide strategic and operational leadership for SAP business processes, technology architecture, and integration. Oversee implementation of new SAP modules and business processes into production. Recommend initiatives aligned with business and financial objectives. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement while fostering innovation and accountability. Management Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve project success and professional growth. Foster collaboration, learning, and a Kaizen culture for continuous improvement. Inspire and empower team members to proactively influence the business and drive change. Business Partnership & Vendor Management Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on complex, enterprise-level projects. Manage vendors and system integrators to meet contractual and performance commitments. Oversee RFP/SOW creation, contract negotiation, and budget performance. Lead integration of SAP Services and Support within the broader Information Services organization. Product Lifecycle Management Manage the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC) for SAP-related projects and programs. Oversee architecture, design, and sustainment of SAP services across business units. Develop and maintain SAP roadmaps aligned with business priorities and emerging technologies. Ensure compliance with ITIL, PMLC, and regulatory standards. Administration Manage operational budgets for SAP support, maintenance, and enhancements. Maintain robust system documentation and enforce standardization across SAP processes. Drive efficiency and cost optimization while ensuring audit and compliance adherence. What You’ll Bring Experience & Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. 7 years of progressive IT management experience, including 5 years in leadership roles. 5 years managing an SAP Centre of Excellence or similar environment. Hands-on SAP experience across landscape management, cloud applications (IBP, BTP), and integrations. Strong experience in business process enhancement and SAP-driven transformation. Proven project management experience using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies. Core Competencies Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Expertise in ITIL, PMLC, and enterprise service delivery frameworks. Proven ability to bridge business needs with technical strategy and execution. Budget management and strategic planning proficiency.
