Overview To support several large projects on site for a client in the pharmaceutical sector in the region of Brussels we are searching for a PROJECT ENGINEER 'black utilities' . Our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department supports projects in different sectors on basis of project staffing with consultants working at the client’s site. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Coordinate a team of engineers from an engineering company during projects design & execution Coordinate and generate all technical and documentary activities, as well as the planning for execution of his packages Has a broad knowledge of the Utilities processes but also have a larger understanding of all related disciplines to challenge/review globally and identify potential issues Alignment with global standards – Project Management, technical, green, safety, GMP, … Acting as end-to-end responsible for Black Utilities work package in engineering projects: from selection, design, procurement, construction to mechanical completion, commissioning to handover Working with our Execution Engineering Leads to implement the best solution to meet the customer needs Defining the cost estimates for construction related investments Providing Engineering expertise to users Providing expertise for obsolescence management Driving consistency with engineering standards and regulations Ensuring the adherence to cGxP and EHS regulations and guidelines corresponding to related systems Assisting other specialists within their respective activities (Clean Utilities, Infrastructure) Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in projects of different scales and complexity in the pharmaceutical industry In-depth technical experience in a regulated environment with knowledge in Black Utilities (Clean Utilities is a plus) Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry not limited to technical aspects only Good understanding of EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) and Quality aspects Ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment Sstrong value commitment Experience in (complex) projects Both formal and informal leadership / coordination experience with deployment of EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) contracting models Manages with a matrix of reporting lines and across functional areas Ability to share good practices and knowledge Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to apply previous learning and ideas to new situations, developing creative solutions to manage risk to a reasonably practicable level Strong technical and interpersonal skills Able to translate customers’ needs in technical requirements Full professional proficiency in French and English (both oral and written) Why PM Group?
