Senior Bridge Engineer

Our client, a prominent organisation within the highways sector, is currently seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for a contract opportunity. This role is pivotal in advancing high-quality capital programmes that significantly impact the community. Key Responsibilities: Designing and managing bridge projects from inception through to completion Ensuring compliance with national standards and Eurocodes Overseeing the preparation and presentation of reports, proposals, and engineering solutions Collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver successful bridge projects Conducting site inspections and assessments Mentoring junior engineers and providing professional guidance Contributing to multidisciplinary projects, particularly in stadiums and building design Upholding the organisation's values and promoting a collaborative and innovative working environment Job Requirements: Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Chartered Engineer status with the ICE or ISTRUCTE, or significant progress towards Chartered Status Extensive experience in bridge design, with a strong focus on highways In-depth knowledge of national standards and Eurocodes Strong communication and report writing skills Experience in stadiums and building design/construction is advantageous Proficiency in using engineering software and tools If you are a seasoned professional with a passion for bridge design and a desire to make a tangible difference, we invite you to apply now and contribute to the success of our client's dynamic team
