Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer Location: Blaydon | Full-time | Permanent I'm looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join my clients growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual with a background in subcontract engineering, fabrication, or precision machining to play a key role supporting production and sales operations. What You’ll Do: * Create and manage Parts, BOMs, and Manufacturing Routes to support estimating and production. * Oversee customer projects, ensuring requirements are met on time and to specification. * Provide technical input for quotations and support accurate costing. * Manage works orders, ensuring compliance with quality and operational standards. * Generate purchase orders for materials and subcontracted services. * Act as a key contact for customers, maintaining excellent communication and satisfaction. * Review contracts, quotes, and route cards for engineering accuracy. * Produce technical drawings for laser cutting, machining, and welding fixtures. * Ensure ongoing ISO compliance and documentation accuracy. Requirements: * Strong understanding of engineering principles and processes. * Experience in a subcontract engineering environment. * Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (training provided). * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Confident with Microsoft Office tools. * Experience with 2D/3D CAD software (highly desirable).
