Pipe Layers

Job Description: We are currently recruiting experienced Pipe Layers / Pipe Fitters to join a water infrastructure project, installing and connecting 450mm ductile iron pipework. This is a hands-on, site-based role working as part of a small, skilled team on a live water works site. Candidates must have a solid background in deep drainage or water utilities, with specific experience working with large-diameter ductile iron pipes. Key Responsibilities: * Laying and fitting 450mm ductile iron pipework * Cutting, jointing, and aligning pipework to specification * Installing valves, bends, couplings, and associated fittings * Working to utility drawings and method statements * Ensuring compliance with site H&S procedures at all times Requirements: ✅ Proven experience laying ductile iron water mains (450mm essential) ✅ CSCS or EUSR Water Hygiene (in-date) ✅ Confined Space ticket (desirable but not essential) ✅ Ability to read and understand utility drawings ✅ Own tools and PPE ✅ Right to work in the UK Benefits: * Competitive rates * Ongoing work with a reputable contractor * Weekly pay * Opportunity for long-term projects
