Paint Sprayer (Rolling Stock) – 2 x Vacancies Start Date: Immediate Duration: Initially 5 weeks, with potential follow-on work Hours/Shifts: * Days: Mon–Thurs 06:00–15:00, Fri 06:00–12:00 * Nights: Typical night pattern available (details on request) Pay: £20.50 p/h (Days) / £24.50 p/h (Nights) The Role Orbital recruitment are recruiting two experienced Paint Sprayers to support ongoing work on rolling stock in Derby. Work will primarily involve “blow-ins” and “touch-ups” on exterior and interior components to a high standard of finish. Key Responsibilities * Prepare surfaces, mask, and carry out blow-ins/touch-ups on rolling stock components * Mix and apply paints to specification, ensuring correct film build and finish * Carry out minor prep/fill/sand as required; quality check own work * Adhere to H&S, PPE and site procedures at all times About You * Essential: Experienced Paint Sprayer (time-served or equivalent) * Preferred: Rolling Stock background * Considered: Aerospace or Automotive paint experience * Confident with small-area repairs, smart repairs, blow-ins and touch-ups * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety * Right to work in the UK; able to pass site inductions What’s On Offer * Immediate starts * Competitive hourly rates (days/nights) * Ongoing contract with the potential for further work
