Senior Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (early finish 12:30pm on Fridays) Salary: Market Competitive ✈️ Travel: Global travel About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a quality-driven professional with a strong manufacturing background, capable of working in dynamic, international environments. You’ll play a key part in managing supplier quality performance, conducting audits, problem-solving using 8D methodology, and maintaining essential documentation and certifications. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support supplier audits (internal and external) * Manage and maintain supplier documentation and certifications * Use 8D methodology to investigate and resolve quality issues * Support APQP and PPAP activities for new product introduction * Collaborate with global suppliers and internal teams to drive continuous improvement * Be available for short-notice travel to supplier sites (UK and overseas) What We’re Looking For * Proven Quality Engineering experience within manufacturing (fastener experience not required) * Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, GD&T, and 8D problem solving * Lead Auditor trained – ideally to IATF 16949 * Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills * Flexible and willing to travel internationally Why Join Us? * Immediate start available * Work in a collaborative, fast-growing international team * Access to modern facilities with advanced metrology and inspection equipment * Competitive salary and supportive work environment * Early finish every Friday
