Job Description
Duties: Source and purchase technical equipment, materials, and services according to project specifications. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to evaluate technical requirements. Identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and secure favourable terms. Review and interpret technical drawings, data sheets, and documentation. Conduct cost analysis. Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies. Maintain accurate procurement records and reports. Track orders, manage delivery timelines, and resolve supply issues. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and vendors. Work independently and within a team and prioritize tasks effectively. Adhere to ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity and transparency. Skills: National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering or a related field. 2 years of experience in technical procurement or a similar role. Strong technical acumen and ability to read technical drawings/specifications. Solid organisational and analytical abilities SAP knowledge is an advantage Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Good time management. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Driver's License.
