This role includes assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Perform physical and mental health assessments. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Prescribe and manage medications, including psychotropic drugs. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Develop and implement treatment and care plans. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and mental health professionals. Educate and mentor staff and students. Refer clients to appropriate specialists and community resources. Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of medical, nursing, and mental health principles. Skilled in-patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage patients with behavioral or emotional challenges. Qualifications: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing. Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Oregon. Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Experience in primary or mental health care preferred.
